Spiders aren't exactly sexy, and neither is Peter Parker. Alongside the likes of Superman's Man of Steel abs and Thor's flowing golden hair, #Marvel's #SpiderMan is hardly a sex symbol — until now, that is. A new photoshoot is showing us just how sexy your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man really can be, rocking the whole Clark Kent vibe and giving us a peek under that red and blue lycra. Photographer Sarah Hester gives us another sexy dudeoir shoot that stops just short of #PeterParker covering us in his sticky white fluid.
You may remember that Hester opened up our Chamber of Secrets with her saucy Harry Potter shoot, where a bespectacled model sent sparks firing from the end of his wand. Well, now she is back with the same model, Zachary Howell, to sex up Spidey. Let's just say, I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall in his web.
Maybe it is the geek chic behind his fogged up spectacles, or that bulging thorax hidden underneath his skin-tight suit, but if this were the kind of Spider-Man we'd be seeing in John Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming, then this wall-crawler could crawl straight into my bedroom, so let's take a look.

For those worried about the objectification of men, Hester points out it is all light-hearted and not meant to offend:
“It’s really just pure entertainment...It’s fun. There are so many sexualized female versions of fictional characters and it’s neat to explore the other side.”
We would quite like to see Zachary in his birthday suit, rather than his spider suit, but this is one shoot that certainly left our spider-senses (and other parts) tingling. For anyone interested in what he looks like all suited up, you can check it out on his Instagram, but personally, I think we can all agree he looks better in the buff. Thanks to Hester for letting us all live out our wildest Gwen Stacy/M. J. Fantasies — I am off to hang upside down and wait for a kiss.
Check a rather more family-friendly version of Spider-Man with Tom Holland in the Homecoming trailer, and don't forget our poll below!
