The Fault in Our Stars actress Shailene Woodley has invited all of her fans to be a part of an early screening of her new movie Divergent - an event that will reportedly benefit her charity.
Based on the best selling YA series by Veronica Roth, Divergent centers on a dystopian Chicago, where citizens are divided into one of five factions - the selfless, the peaceful, the honest, the brave, and the intelligent. Sixteen year old Beatrice Prior (Woodley) was born into a selfless family, but being unselfish doesn't come naturally to her. When the time comes for Beatrice to take the test to decide which faction she belongs to, she discovers she's Divergent - she shows equal aptitude for three of the factions - and she's warned never to share this information. It isn't long before Beatrice defects to the faction of the brave and learns the true danger of what it means to be Divergent.
The charity screening for the movie means you guys get to watch the flick and join stars Shailene, Theo James, and other cast members to be announced at the event. Tickets for the Los Angeles screening are now on sale via AllItTakes.org. Check 'em out!
Not only is this the coolest thing ever ANYWAY (how much would you like to meet Shai!?), proceeds will benefit a "non-profit organization that empowers individual action creating a movement for a sustainable positive change both locally and globally".
Don't forget - Divergent hits theaters on March 21!
