Another day, another celebrity dishing out their opinion on Kim Kardashian West — and this time, it was reality TV royalty from across the pond, Sharon Osbourne, who had a few scathing words about the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

Speaking with Daily Telegraph, Sharon argued that, although there's nothing wrong with showing off your naked body, she refuses to comply with Kimmy K's claims that she is a true feminist, saying:

"Those girls live off their bodies. Half of L.A. has been through them, and everything they do from the sex tape to the plastic see-through dresses and the gym wear is about sex, not female progress. Kim says she’s doing everything in the name of feminism, but that’s not feminism!"

Then, the 64-year-old upped the ante on , following in the footsteps of many other before her — including actress Chloë Grace Moretz — in publicly shaming her. Calling the mother-of-two a "ho," she said:

"Listen, God bless them. If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that’s not feminism. That’s being a ho. There’s nothing wrong with being a ho, but always remember what you are."

Osbourne's harsh words certainly come at an interesting time, when debates over slut shaming and faux feminism permeate the news waves. And her comments come hot on the heels on the interview that Kim — who has previously also written an essay calling out body shaming — gave to Harper's Bazaar just last week. In the cover story, she argued:

"I said once before that I’m not really a feminist. But I feel I do a lot more than people that claim that they’re feminist. To clarify what I said before: I feel in my soul I’m a feminist. I just don’t need labels to make me feel or know what I am inside."

Ultimately, while Osbourne is of course entitled to her own opinion, it is still unacceptable to slut shame another woman in such a direct, savage manner. Instead, it's probably advisable to take a leaf out of Dame Helen Mirren's book and to acknowledge how far women have come in society in terms of redefining beauty standards. Last year, the Hollywood actress dropped the following truth-bombs, making us love her even more:

"When I was growing up, it was thought to be unbelievably sluttish to even have a bra strap showing. Everything was about women conforming. I love shameless women. Shameless and proud! [...] I love women who have claimed their own bodies: Madonna, Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, Bonnie Raitt. I love Pussy Riot more than anything in the world. They all raise their middle fingers to this epithet of 'slut.' They wear what they want to wear, behave as they want to behave."

Amen to that.

Do you think its okay to call another woman a "ho?"
