Fresh off the set of horror remake Carrie, has gotten right back into the swing of things on the set of Kick-Ass 2 as Hit-Girl and is clearly, well, kicking ass.

However, it appears that the young star isn't sure whether she wants to continue with the character. When asked by Judao about the possibility of a Hit-Girl spin-off movie, Moretz said:

I don't know! There must be a really, really, really good reason to be made, a really good character...we're growing her up slowly, you know? She can't just be this girl who happens to be a vigilante. You need to have, you know... Things. Like James Bond has his thing, Bourne has his thing... She needs to grow up and become a woman before we go there.

I'm all for a Hit-Girl solo movie, but place it after the events of Kick-Ass 2. I've had enough of these midquels and prequels - it's distracting, because we all know the outcome of the characters, and the actors are visibly older then they were in the previous movies (I'm looking at you, X-Men and Origins: Wolverine).

Are you into the idea of a Hit-Girl solo project? Let us know in the comments. [[poll]]
