Sofia Boutella has quickly grown to stardom in the past three years, appearing in several blockbusters and big-budget movies including Kingsman: The Secret Service, Star Trek Beyond and The Mummy. Having dabbled in comic book movies, it's only a matter of time before she makes the leap to Marvel or DC.

With the physical skill and stunt work the former dancer is known for, it's odd that she's yet to be tapped as a major superhero star. But when she finally gets that call, it'll undoubtedly be welcomed with open, limber arms. Here are five superhero roles that Boutella would do justice to.

5. Huntress

While not yet a major player in Comics, in a supporting role Huntress has made an impact. The character's most notable appearance so far is in The CW TV show , where for a short time she worked alongside Oliver Queen before turning against him. Boutella's potential portrayal would offer an opportunity to show off her catlike dexterity.

Seeing as is a vigilante, perhaps we could see her team up with her sometime-counterpart Batman. It would be a treat to see Boutella as Huntress alongside Batgirl, or even in a Nightwing movie.

4. Death

Boutella is no stranger to wild prosthetics, as seen with her portrayal of the alien Jaylah in last year's . And there are few superheroes with such a crazy aesthetic as Mistress Death. The comic book source material offers several places for this character to show up in the movies, but the best storyline involves her relationship with Thanos in acclaimed limited series The Infinity Gauntlet.

In the comic books, Thanos is madly in love with Death and does everything in the hopes of pleasing her. This story could play out in Avengers: Infinity War. The chances of this happening are low, but still possible. Production for Infinity War is well underway, and the first trailer for the movie is expected in the next month or so. However, if Death's inclusion were to happen, it'd be a secret that directing duo Anthony and Joe Russo would want to keep hidden until the movie is closer to release. If not Infinity War, there's always Avengers 4.

The other place that Mistress Death could show up is Deadpool 2. As seen in the 2013 titular video game, the oversexed Merc with a Mouth has been known to mess around with the women of the MCU. And one of those women just so happens to be Death. So with set to introduce more familiar characters, like Cable and Domino, who's to say there isn't enough room for this infinitely powerful superheroine?

3. Zatanna

While she may not be able to carry a solo movie like some of her counterparts, Zatanna could easily show up in the as something of a familiar face. And coming off the back of The Mummy, Boutella is no stranger to playing make-believe with magic.

Much like Huntress, Zatanna is a major supporting character of DC. However, the difference here is that Zatanna currently has a bigger fanbase, thanks to the character's standout role in the popular Cartoon Network series . And with characters like Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Batgirl taking center stage in the DCEU, Zatanna is fully capable of stepping up and joining that party.

2. Lady Deathstrike

As with the suggestions of Death and Zatanna, Boutella could use her previous experiences to play Lady Deathstrike. The agility she demonstrated in : The Secret Service is exactly what's needed to bring the X-Men supervillain to life. Not only that, but Boutella looks remarkably similar to comic book renderings of the character.

With the entire universe potentially being reset and recast, there is no longer a place for original cinematic Lady Deathstrike Kelly Hu. This presents the perfect opportunity for Boutella to swoop in for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, or even X-Men: The New Mutants.

1. Raven

Boutella has already proven she can do supernatural, and who is the DC heroine most known for her supernatural powers? That's right: Raven.

Thanks to her time with the , Raven has become one of the most popular female characters in all of DC, and it's easy to see why. She's undoubtedly one of the most powerful characters, not just in the Teen Titans, but in all of DC. As the daughter of the demon Trigon, she has at various times been considered a threat to the world. However, she has also shown us she's capable of being a savior.

With one of the most beloved female characters in all of comics, it seems inevitable she'll join the DCEU. But as to where she'll show up, it's most likely to be Nightwing, Justice League 2, or maybe a future movie about the Teen Titans.
