Love is in the air, Disney fans. Tiffany Thornton stole the spotlight in Disney Channel's Sonny With A Chance, where she played the competitive and fashion-obsessed Tawni Hart. After the show ended, she focused on starting a family with her husband, Christopher Carney, and the couple had two children, Bentley and Kenneth. Sadly, on December, 2015, Carney passed away in a car accident, but two years later Thornton has found love once again.
Last year, the actress shared her grief with her fans on social media, writing this emotional tribute to her late husband:
Thornton announced her engagement to Josiah Capaci, a worship pastor, last April. To celebrate their upcoming nuptials, she posted a beautiful message on Instagram:
In the caption, she gushed about her fiancé and explained to her fans that, while it may look like she found a new love too soon after Carney's death, Capaci represents a fresh start for her and her family.
To the delight of her fans, the former #Disney star hasn't been shy about sharing her new life, giving us an insight into the incredible relationship she shares with her significant other and her two sons:
That's absolutely adorable. It's great to know that, even though Carney will always be a big part of her part, she's doing well and allowing herself to move on. Hopefully nothing but happiness is in store for her and her family from this point forward. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see the wedding pictures!
