If you're familiar with the personal lives of the cast of Game of Thrones, you'd know the Stark Sisters are as tight as a pack of their direwolves.

On the 68th Annual Emmy Awards red carpet, Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa Stark, revealed to E! the matching tattoo she and Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark, share, and it is just adorable.

The Tattoos

The tattoo is of the date “07.08.09,” which marked the moment both actresses found out they were cast on the HBO series and is located on her right arm. Turner was 15 when the popular series premiered in 2011 and Williams was 14. Turner mentioned getting the tattoo in peach ink because, "my mum was like, 'make sure it doesn’t show up.'" She revealed that they were planning on getting matching tattoos for a while now and also joked that the reason they got the tattoos was because,

"we don’t know if we’re going to make it, so Maisie and I were like let’s get these ones before anyone kills us,"

Wise woman, that Sophie Turner is.

Williams revealed her tattoo at the BAFTAs, which is located on her left arm in red ink.

Maisie's Instagram Post Piques Interest

Five days prior to the Emmys, Williams posted an adorable picture on Instagram of her napping on Turner's shoulder with the caption "07.08.09"...

...and tattoo artist Miss Kat Paine posted this picture with the two smiling ladies the night of the Emmys, which allowed all internet detectives to place aside their theories in the Case of the Instagram Caption.

As for the upcoming season of Thrones, Turner teased, "This season is unbelievable... I think fans are going to be really satisfied.” Season 7 premieres in 2017 and I cannot handle my excitement.
