In preparation for the Chinese premiere of Spider-Man: Homecoming next month, Marvel has released several promotional posters featuring the web-slinging hero alongside famous landmarks throughout the country. From getting in line with the Terracotta Warriors to napping over the Great Wall, Spider-Man has certainly made his presence in China known.
The #Spiderman reboot was well received when it opened in the U.S. earlier this summer, but it has yet to hit China, one of the world's largest markets. If these thoughtful posters are any indication, Marvel is looking to increase Spidey's success in the Middle Kingdom.
You can check out Spider-Man, or, 蜘蛛侠 (Zhi Zhu Xia) in Mandarin, enjoying his Chinese adventure below, starting with his visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding:
Nothing like a relaxing raft ride down the Taohua River in Guilin after all that panda cuddling. Hopefully Spider-Man noticed that the famous Elephant Trunk Hill was behind him.
Never one to just hang around, the multitasking Spider-Man took in Wuhan's Yellow Crane Tower while getting some test prep done:
How about a horse ride through Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to get the blood flowing and enjoy the beauty of Yunnan province:
Next, its on to Shanghai to get in a Spidey-selfie with the Oriental Pearl Tower:
Even superheroes get tired while traveling, as evidenced by Spidey taking a little down time over the Great Wall of China:
Time to fall in line with the first Emperor of China's immortalized Terracotta Army in Shaanxi province:
After a long day of web-slinging around China, why not catch the Yangtze River Ropeway in Chongqing and enjoy the scenery:
