Stan "The Man" Lee is known for his heroic creations that we now call superheroes. Ever since Stan Lee's first co-produced superhero, The Destroyer, who debuted all the way back in 1941, comic legend Stan Lee is responsible for superhero creations such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and so many more.
At 94 years old, with generations of superheroes that he has created, Stan Lee has revealed to Variety that he has at least 50 superheroes with all different and new abilities that he has yet to reveal to anyone, stating:
“I have about 50 [superheroes] that I’ve already developed that I haven’t shown to anybody, and someday I will. But there’s no need for me, really, to do anymore now.. One of them has a superpower that you’ve never seen before. They all have new superpowers, but I can’t tell you. I’m sorry!”
Sadly, #StanLee doesn't sound too interested in revealing these personally created heroes to the public just yet. This is most likely because of these characters' sentimental value, and their true value is something he wants to keep alive, and not abused with storyline after storyline written by a whole bunch of different authors who don't understand what ruining that character's potential could mean to him.
With Stan's wife Joan recently passing away, it would make sense for him to need something to hold onto, and one of those heroes could represent something he saw in his wife. For now, we don't know. This is probably for the best, because when Stan Lee is ready to let go of them, I'm sure he will.
Do you think Stan Lee should reveal his heroes to the world?
