This is a conversation that I imagine went down around three years ago or so:
: "Join ALL the blockbuster franchises!"
Hollywood: "Well...okay, we'll allow it."
Lest you think I'm crazy (for this, at least), check it out. The veteran actor has had roles in Marvel's Phase One project with Captain America: The First Avenger, the Hunger Games franchise, and will be in the latest installment for the Percy Jackson franchise.
But this is not enough. Tucci must have more, more, MOOOOOORE (cue maniacal cackle)...
Er. Sorry. Got carried away.
Anyway, director (I use that term loosely) announced at CinemaCon last night that Tucci had been added the cast of Transformers: Age of Extinction, joining already-confirmed actors , and , along with one unnamed young actor that Bay teased would be revealed soon.
While there is no word yet on what role Tucci will be playing or what we can expect from the plot, it's a pretty safe bet that he will be involved in an explosion at one point. Probably two.
