The ambitious Star Wars 7 is a project both anticipated and feared, and its casting has so far sent fans into a frenzy trying to figure out what roles are being cast. About three weeks ago, a casting call by Disney revealed the search for a girl in the 16-18 age range, and a young man in the 19-23 age range, fueling speculation they could be the Solo kids. These roles have since been confirmed by Lucasfilm as being for Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens.

But THR is reporting there's another, mystery role that has not yet been confirmed by the studio. According to the outlet, the search is on for "a 40-something military man a la Matt Damon in Elysium."

That's a fairly vague description, but interesting. It's almost impossible to tell what role this might be, if it's a completely new character or someone from the existing canon. Let me hear your wildest theories in the comments.

Star Wars 7 is hitting theaters on December 18, 2015.
