At times it truly feels like the curiosity door shielding those otherworldly shadow beasts in Stranger Things Season 2 will stay forever closed. Yet, in an age in which secrets are generally plonked across the internet by every other mouthbreather and Lando, this silent treatment is quite refreshing.
That said, thanks to this year's San Diego Comic-Con we have a better idea of what's going down in Hawkins, Indiana in 1984, when we rejoin the kids as they pedal into the belly of the beast. Courtesy of #Netflix's Stranger Things panel, there's now a second Season 2 trailer to pour over — the first dropped during the Super Bowl — that depicts how Will is coping with life after spewing slugs in the Season 1 finale. Apparently, he's now the creepier Three-Eyed Raven of Hawkins.
I don't know about you, but I almost telepathically obliterated a Coke can during that — talk about intense! And the use of Vincent Price's monologue from Michael Jackon's "Thriller"? Chef's kiss all day! Ready to stamp it with an 11/10 and be done with it already, to be quite honest.
As mentioned above, intimate details surrounding the narrative of #StrangerThings Season 2 are kept extremely quiet; we do know that it's set to be much darker than its predecessor, and that Barb is fully dead (if anyone still cares about that).
In the meantime, you'll have to make do with flicking through our dedicated Stranger Things content page (below), and stretching out that D&D campaign. Keep reading Movie Pilot for more #SDCC2017 news.
