We all love a good superhero movie, right? Apparently not- for every person who loves a good superhero flick, there's a detractor who doesn't see the appeal. Many people on the Internet love to complain about superhero movies, with some of these movies being our favorites.
While it is always good to defend your favorite movies, at some point you just have to give up and laugh. Urban Dictionary is the perfect place to do this, they actually have a treasure trove of 'definitions' for our favorite (and least favorite) superhero movies. Some of these synopses are positive, while others aren't so much. Lets take a look at a few of the best...
Note: the spelling and grammatical errors in the following definitions are work of the original writers, not mine. I apologize if they become hard to look at.
Generally regarded as the worst Batman movie ever made. Starring Val Kilmer. That is probably why.
Josh: I heard that Val Kilmer drove everyone so batshit on the set of Batman Forever that they stopped being capable of making a halfway decent movie.
Nick: That sounds accurate.

Well, that Deadpool definition kind of gives away who runs Urban Dictionary. I have to say, it really makes a lot of sense. We're sure Deadpool would approve of most of the jokes above. If you need a refresher on his on-screen antics, check out the video below:
While I don't agree with a lot of these movie definitions, I have to admit they are cleverly written.
At the end of the day, Urban Dictionary's users aren't going to change the mean things. The most we can do is admit that they were at least written humorously and move on. I enjoyed reading these defintions, and intend to continue searching the site for more. I just hope I stop accidentally pulling up movie names that double as sex positions.
What does Urban Dictionary define your favorite movie as? Let me know in the comments, and thanks for reading!
