If 12 seasons of Supernatural have taught us anything, it's that when a season ends, we can always expect to be left with a whole warded trunkload of unanswered questions. Whether it's wondering how Dean's going to get out of a deal with a demon, how Sam's going to get out of hell, or most recently how Castiel is going to come back this time.

Season 12 did not disappoint, and in about three weeks, we're gonna find out just what happened to the whole crew. How will Cass come back? What's Lucifer going to do to Mary? And one question that's answered in the below Season 13 extended trailer: who's going to rule hell now that Crowley is dead and gone?

How could you not get excited about fire and brimstone, especially when it's promised by such a well-dressed fallen angel?

Who is he? I'll be honest...no clue. IMDB tells us nothing about the identity of this mystery ruler, and neither does the rest of the internet. I'm sure his name is out there somewhere, or it will be soon. But one interesting thing stands out. Remember the last time the king of hell rocked a white suit?

The lightning, the white suit, and the dreariness in that episode back in Season 5 ... they all remind you of Apocalypse World at the end of Season 12, do they not?

Another question that Season 12 left us with is: Who's Jack and what in the hell can he do?

Check out that...whatever you would call it. Jack looks like he's packing some serious heat that would have Charles Xavier calling about a “scholarship.”

Lucky Number 13

Whatever Season 13 has in store for us, we're in for new stories, old characters reborn, and quite possibly the most intense season yet. Add to that a kickass peek into a world where Sam and Dean were never born and the apocalypse actually happened? Grab a bag of curly fries and get ready, because October 12th will be here before you know it!
