Fans of #TaikaWaititi, the brilliant brain behind this year's #HuntForTheWilderPeople and 2014's #WhatWeDoInTheShadows, already know that he's not as camera-shy as the usual movie director; he often looks like he's having as much fun on set as a kid whose dad just let him skip school for the day to look at movie props instead. That's not to say he doesn't take his job seriously: In fact, the extent of his skills has allowed him to jump from a small indie movie like Hunt for the Wilderpeople to as big a blockbuster as one could possibly get, the upcoming #ThorRagnarok.
During the shooting of the third #Thor movie, Waititi obviously showered us with funny excerpts and sarcastically captioned pictures of the set, giving us just a taste of how crazy Ragnarok was going to be. In a recent Reddit AmA, he hinted that Ragnarok was going to be unlike any other #Marvel movie - add to that the freshly released #DoctorStrange, and it really looks like the #MCU is diversifying its tone.
After all, we have Waititi to thank for this documentary on Thor's whereabouts during #CaptainAmericaCivilWar:

Last Day: Live From The Set Of Thor: Ragnarok
Now, Ragnarok has wrapped filming, and Waititi shared a final peek at the fun the team had on set, prancing around their Australian filming spot live and introducing fans to partially in-costume actors.
#ChrisHemsworth's biceps alone are worth the watch, but the director also introduces some of the crew and takes us inside a spaceship. Judging from the amount of stuff lying around, one can never have enough props when shooting a superhero movie. We also get to see a bit of Tessa Thompson's makeup for Valkyrie, though unfortunately there's no Hela or Odin on the horizon.
Thor: Ragnarok is set for release November 3, 2017.
