When DC announced its new streaming app last spring, fans were most excited to hear about the upcoming live-action Titans TV series, but there were still a lot of questions — especially whether it would be set in The CW's Arrowverse. After San Diego Comic-Con, fans were disappointed that DC didn't reveal any new information

However, our patience has paid off, because the first Titans casting has been revealed.

Deadline has just reported that Teagan Croft has landed the role of in the new live-action series . The 13-year-old actress only has two credits on IMDb — for the upcoming Australian films The Osiris Child and Home and Away — so Titans will mark her Hollywood debut.

Croft is a bit younger of an actress (and a bit more unknown) than most of us had expected for the part. producer Greg Berlanti and the rest of the creative crew must have really seen something in Teagan Croft that made her stand out from the crowd. That is definitely a characteristic the actress playing Raven would need, as she is such a complex character.

Deadline's sources described Croft's Raven as "the daughter of a demon... a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side." Another scoop from Deadline is that we're almost definitely seeing Nightwing, as "Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others."
