Winter is coming... to a games console near you. IGN has learned that Telltale, the geniuses behind the incredible The Walking Dead game, is developing a game based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire an Ice.

Even though multiple sources have revealed the game is in development, Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale is giving nothing away:

We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.

The single chapter character narrative of Martin's books would lend itself perfectly to a Telltale game, as their latest offering, The Walking Dead: 400 Days, offered five different narratives from the perspective of five different characters. They also have experience adapting licensed projects, with TWD, Back to the Future and Jurassic Park all under their belt.
