You'd think that the creator of a cosmic dictator central to MCU's upcoming Avengers: Infinity War would be raking in the big bucks, but according to a Facebook post penned by Jim Starlin, that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact he claims that a minor character who appeared in #DC's Batman v Superman brought in more bucks than all of his #Marvel movies combined.
In a post published to Facebook on Tuesday morning, Starlin threw a little shade at the #MCU, claiming that Anatoli Knyyazev (a.k.a. K.G.Beast) — the fictional Russian warlord that captures Lois and Martha Wayne in #BatmanVSuperman — was more bankable than Thanos, Gamora and Drax combined. Here's the post:

Last year Starlin told The Hollywood Reporter that his deal with Marvel regarding Thanos had been renegotiated:
"I'd like to have had a bigger piece of Thanos than I do, but when the first Avengers movie came out, Marvel and I — we renegotiated some things, so I get a taste out of this thing. I'm not becoming the next Bill Gates, but I'm getting a little something out of it."
And it would seem that Marvel has taken the "little something" part quite literally indeed.
Do you think Jim Starlin deserves to be banking the big bucks?
