We all know now that they do things differently in the movies than is seen in the comics, but what of the Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet, of which we caught a glimpse in Odin's treasure room, back in Thor?

Today, ComicBook.com is reporting that five gems that power the Gauntlet may not actually stay true to the comic books. Meaning that in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, some fans may be getting rubbed up the wrong way.

One inquisitive fan asked Ryan Penagos, Marvel's main man on social media, "Has Marvel official said which Infinity Gem correlates with the two we've seen in film so far? Aether = Power? Tesseract = Space? Or is that question truly truly outrageous?"

And, potentially irritating a lot of Marvel purists the world over, Penagos responded with this dangerous answer:

No, we haven't... Don't stress on them needing to be 1:1 with the comics. Different stories, different media, etc.

What do you guys think we'll be seeing of the stones/gems in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron? And, with this in mind, do you think that Whedon will be sticking close enough to the comic books for your taste? Sound off below, Marvel fans!
