Fans of recently canceled series The Borgias are nothing if not feisty. They rallied during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour and sent messages to Showtime entertainment president to bring the historical series back... And although their attempts were mostly in vain, they are now getting the next best thing to a TV finale: closure.

According to Indie Wire, show creator will be releasing an e-book called The Borgia Apolcalypse which will be in stores from this week! In a statement on Twitter, Showtime remarked that:

We're thrilled that the series' loyal fans will have the opportunity to read Neil's final farewell to one of history's most infamous families.

Are you happy about getting a written conclusion to three seasons of lovingly crafted 16th Century Italianness, or do you want to actually see it? Will this appease you The Borgias fans, or just fuel the fire for the @SaveTheBorgias campaign? Let me know in the comment section below!
