Already Sundance darlings, director-writer and actor-writer have teamed up again for their latest collaboration, The East. The film premiered at Sundance earlier this year (naturally), with a debut trailer, and now Fox Searchlight has released a second:

The East follows Marling's character, Sarah, a brilliant operative for an elite private intelligence firm. When she's tasked with the role of infiltrating a ruthless eco-terrorist group called The East that targets powerful corporations, the game becomes even deadlier when she grows closer to the members of the radical organization and starts to develop feelings for its charismatic leader.

Along with Marling, The East also stars as the leader of the organization (Seriously, is there ever a role he plays where women are NOT attracted to him?), and , , , and round out a strong cast.

Here's the creepy, Anonymous-like poster:

No word yet on when the movie will be released for wider distribution, but this looks like it's going to be a good one, folks, so click [[follow]] to stay updated.
