's adaptation of 's Carrie (or remake of 's 1976 classic, depending on who you ask) underperformed at the box office this weekend, opening in third place behind Gravity and Captain Phillips. It's all kind of surprising when you consider there aren't really many horror films this October and remakes like Evil Dead had very strong openings earlier this year. Still, the movie could have stronger returns abroad in a couple of weeks. Despite mixed reviews coming from the USA, the marketing campaign for Carrie has always been pretty solid, and this new international poster is no different. It's probably the strongest Carrie poster yet. Check it out:
