When it comes to Michael Caine impressions, you can’t beat Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan. I mean you can try, but... people will suffer. Even Michael Caine doesn’t do as a good a Michael Caine as these two.

Now, one of the chief pleasures of The Trip, Michael Winterbottom's bittersweet road movie starring Brydon and Coogan as exaggerated versions of themselves, was the scene which featured said competing Michael Caine impressions.

It’s an very heated (read: drunken) debate at Moviepilot's annual Christmas party who won (I'd say Steve Coogan in general, while Brydon takes the prize for old Michael Caine).

As the movie gods seem in a merciful mood, Brydon and Coogan do it again in the sequel to that movie, The Trip to Italy, which premiered in Sundance January 20. Even better: they do (and everybody else) in The Dark Knight Rises.
