After the jaw-dropping Season 3 finale of The Flash left us all in a state of disbelief, it's no wonder that fans are eagerly anticipating the show's return. The CW's highest-rated series will return for its fourth season on October 10 in a season premiere that will see the Scarlet Speedster reborn.

However, not one for waiting, The CW has already begun promoting the second episode of Season 4, "Mixed Signals." The episode will see the newly returned Barry Allen and his fiancee Iris West attend couples therapy. Check out the previously released synopsis below:

"Barry (Grant Gustin) has his hands full when he takes on a dangerous meta (guest star Dominic Burgess) who can control technology, while also confronting an obstacle in his personal life: the ramifications of abandoning Iris (Candice Patton) for six months to balance the Speed Force. Meanwhile, Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in for a hot date with Cisco (Carlos Valdes), but she gets annoyed when his work keeps them apart."

But the network didn't stop there. To keep us all excited, they have released brand new photos of "Mixed SIgnals," which reveal some interesting (and epic) details about the episode.

Undoubtedly, one of the things we're most excited to see in Season 4 is the brand new Flash suit. After being promised an updated suit for quite some time, it was eventually confirmed that the reborn Flash would indeed be donning one.

While it's highly likely that Barry will wear the outfit in the Season 4 premiere, "Reborn," the trailers and photos didn't confirm this. However, the "Mixed Signals" photos give us our first official look at the present-day Barry Allen triumphantly wearing the new costume. And what an epic sight it is.

While this is undoubtedly the first look at our Barry in the new costume, it isn't the first time we've seen it. Back in the Season 3 episode "The Once And Future Flash," Barry time-traveled to 2024 and met his future self. While that iteration of the Scarlet Speedster was a shabby, broken-down shell of the man he once was, he did have a shiny, colorful Flash suit.

While fans instantly fell in love with "Emo Barry," they fell even more in love with his Flash suit — and thus, it was only a matter of time before present-day Barry followed in his stylish footsteps.

With an awesome new suit, Kid Flash back by his side and the promise of a more light-hearted season, it looks like Season 4 could be a great year for the Scarlet Speedster.

Gypsy Returns To Earth-1

While Season 3 may not have been The Flash's strongest outing, it is responsible for giving us one of the show's most awesome characters: Gypsy. The Earth-19 bounty hunter arrived last season looking for H.R. Wells, but when she lost a duel with Cisco, she agreed to let him stay.

But that didn't stop her from popping over to Earth-1 every now and then to see the man who defeated her. And from the looks of Season 4, she just can't stay away.

As the synopsis states, Gypsy will indeed return to Earth-1 in "Mixed Signals" for a date with Cisco. The pair's romantic chemistry was undeniable in Season 3, with the bounty hunter even returning in the season finale to help Team Flash defeat Savitar. So, it's great to see that the two of them are finally going to try things the old-fashioned way in Season 4.

We know that Gypsy will have a bigger role going forward, as her father, Breacher, will be making his debut later this season (played by film veteran Danny Trejo) with intentions of stopping any inter-dimensional traveler who may bring harm to his daughter's life. Thus, it will be interesting to see what he makes of Cisco.

Team Flash Is Back Together

Barry's return in the season premiere will undoubtedly strengthen Team Flash. And this photo from "Mixed Signals" just highlights the strength of that bond.

Aside from this first look at unmasked Barry in the new suit, the most striking thing about this shot is Caitlin's presence among fellow on Team Flash. While we already knew that she was no longer the evil iteration of Killer Frost, the photos of the season premiere suggested that she would be remaining somewhat icy. But as she's back helping the team in "Mixed Signals," it appears that Barry's return has warmed her icy heart.

But while it's great that the gang is back together, that doesn't mean that Team Flash wasn't coping in Barry's absence. As the San Diego Comic-Con preview highlighted, Iris leads the team through the hard, Flash-less days. As Barry Allen's lightning rod, it's no surprise that she also played that role for Team Flash too.

And from the new photos, it appears that she will continue to play an integral part in the team. I mean, can we please appreciate just how badass she looks as she protects S.T.A.R. Labs with one of Harry's futuristic weapons?

With The Flash set to return to our screens next week, it seems that The CW is wasting no time in preparing for life after the highly-anticipated Season 4 premiere. The photos for "Mixed Signals" have finally given us our first look at the reborn Barry Allen in the 2024 Flash suit, and suggest that Team Flash is stronger than ever.

But with a lot of mixed signals, in both city-life and love lives, it's highly likely that "Mixed Signals" won't be all shiny suits and strong bonds.
