Ok, in a nutshell: according to sleb gossip hound, Perez Hilton, is heartbroken since she found out that is now going out with , who she co-starred with in The Runaways.

Let's examine this, shall we?

As per usual, we get this news via some anonymous source, who has revealed that Robert Pattinson and model/actress Riley Keough were 'inseparable' in Los Angeles all weekend. Conveniently, the source only decided to share this info with the press after a photo was snapped of Rob with a woman in the front seat of his car whom photo agencies have speculated is Keough.

The source said:

'Kristen feels betrayed and hurt that Rob is moving on so quickly after their intense four year romance.'

Isn't it kind of fishy how sources often talk like gossip columnists? I can't imagine anybody I know using the phrase an 'intense four year romance'.

Another 'insider' revealed that:

'Riley and Rob are glued to each other's side. Rob’s awestruck that he's dating someone related to Elvis as he's a massive fan of rock n' roll.'

Some thoughts on the matter:

(a) Who are all these anonymous sources, anyway? And why are we taking their word for it? If they're actually friends with a sleb, they surely wouldn't want to spread word of their pal's most intimate thoughts and feelings all over the World Wide Web.

(b) Reallies? Kristen's heartbroken? Then why was she looking so darn cheerful at the Chanel show? Though, props to Perez, he does actually mention this, if only in passing.

(c) Perez Hilton, The Superficial, the rest of you – can we puhlease have one story, just one, where the woman in the break up is actually just ok in the aftermath? And maybe her life doesn't fall apart and maybe she's even happy? Because you know that happens sometimes, right?

This brings to mind something Kristen said on the Today show around Rupertgate:

'People are just going to write the movie version of your life and consume it the way they please. I get the inclination to be entertained by that as well, so go for it. Have at it. Take it. Take it. [...] But you knew nothing about my relationship before. You know less now. How could you?'

Well said, Kristen.
