The Invisible Woman looks like a real treat for historical drama aficionados. Lots of smoldering in corsets, weird beards, wigs - moldy bliss! The movie also marks second outing as a director after the promising modern-day Shakespeare adaptation Coriolanus.

Set in Victorian England, the period romance centers on the illicit long-time affair between married novelist Charles Dickens () and Nelly Ternan (), an admiring young woman.
