The nominations for the Writers Guild Awards have been announced and AMC's Breaking Bad and Netflix's Orange Is the New Black both came out with four apiece. BB scored nominations for Best Drama, where it faces competition from Mad Men, Homeland, The Good Wife and House of Cards, as well as getting three nods in the Best Episodic Drama category. Orange Is the New Black received nominations for New Series, Comedy Series and a couple in the Best Episodic Comedy category.

If we're being honest with ourselves, the awards season is probably going to be dominated by Breaking Bad. The show has been a critical and ratings winner and went out in final season blaze of glory. All other shows might as well give up now because Walter White won.

You can check out the list of nominations in full here.

Can anything stop Breaking Bad's surge to all-conquering victory?
