It probably shouldn't come as a surprise that the History Channel is making a new show that's not about actual history. After all, we live in a post-Honey Boo Boo world on another stellar network, TLC. But we've actually known that a dollar makes the History channel holler for years. Who could forget such non-history classics as Life After People and Ancient Aliens?

Now, the History channel is soaring to new highs (and sinking to new lows) with a show called The Lost Years, which will chronicle Jesus' life between the ages of 13 and 30. You know, the time when he was apparently an exorcist. The network is working on the story with writer (The Machinist) and producers and . All of these guys obviously have strong horror pedigrees, so I guess it'll be weird and intriguing to see what they do with his pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

There's no word on whether this will be a miniseries or regular series.
