Get ready to fortify your home and pray you survive the night, again. The Purge 4 has officially been given the green light.

The team of Universal Pictures, and Platinum Dunes are combining their movie-making dark magic once more to produce another entry in the dystopian action franchise and have set a release date of July 4, 2018.

Franchise creator James DeMonaco, who wrote and directed the previous three Purge films, will write the upcoming sequel, but will not be back in the director’s chair this time. Instead, he will reportedly help the film’s producers find another director to helm the fourth installment.

Plot, concept, and casting details are all still under wraps for now.

The Purge franchise has been one of the most lucrative in recent horror history with each film outperforming the previous. The most recent installment, had a production budget of $10 million and earned an impressive $79.2 million domestic, $118.6 worldwide. (Check out the official trailer below.)

The entire franchise has earned more than $315 million worldwide. If continues this trend, it'll be a while before we see the final night when all crime is legal.
