It's one of the biggest unanswered questions of all time. What exactly was The Rock cooking? Was it spaghetti bolongnese or some kind of tasty stir-fry? I don't know. Anyway, it's been a long time since last donned his elbow pads and told us to sniff his culinary skills. He's since made a successful career as one of Hollywood's most prolific face punchers. Despite this, he isn't afraid to get a little bit more dramatic. Take for example his upcoming movie, Snitch.

In a recent interview with Hollywood.com, Johnson explained that making the transition from the wrestling ring to the film set was not always easy. He explained:

I was taken serious in a way only because I was very fortunate to be successful in another area. It was a big risk. I didn't have any acting experience. The only thing I knew is that I was willing to put in the work and I wanted to be a good actor.

Johnson's role in Snitch might just be his most "serious" yet. Sure, the movie directed by former stunt expert has its fair share of gun fights and overturning vehicles, but it also has a deeper human element that perhaps we've yet to see Johnson play. It's certainly a lot different from playing the Scorpion King. Check out the rest of Johnson's interview in the video below:
