Warner Bros.' adaption of 's apocalyptic opus The Stand has lost another director, The Wrap is reporting. , who's vigilante flick Out of the Furnace is released next week, has left the project due to creative differences. The studio had tapped the Crazy Heart helmer to re-write and direct the epic, but instead they are again left looking for a replacement.

Cooper had been brought in to replace , who left the project due to his commitment to a certain costumed vigilante, so I guess Warner Bros. has to now go back to the drawing board.

So who do you think should sit in the director's chair for The Stand? I'd like to see get the gig. He's a talented director and has tons of experience adapting Stephen King novels.
