The end of Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries was very ‘eventful’ to say the least for popular witch Bonnie Bennett. TVD star who portrays Bonnie on the show, recently spoke at Comic-Con; revealing not a lot, but a great deal on what is in store next season.

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

So, if any of you have forgotten already, after completing a spell to resurrect Jeremy Gilbert, Bonnie herself passed away in the process, leaving many viewers shocked after the episode named ‘Graduation’.

Speaking in San Diego, Kat admitted that she is excited to see what happens to the newly deceased Bonnie on the ‘Other Side’ but that she is not too sure on how the producers are going to help her character develop throughout Season 5 of the CW network show.

The actress admitted that the first episode was just being wrapped up on the filming process, and that there is a lot of room to discover where this character is going this season.

As Bonnie is now on the ‘Other Side’, a place where the supernatural beings go when they die, the only person who is living and can now see her is Jeremy, which will be very interesting to see how it plays out.

Kat Graham stated

‘it’s yet to be discussed and determined as to how Elena and Caroline [Bonnie’s best friends] will be affected by her passing’

and she later added that she is a big fan of Bonnie’s relationship with Elena’s younger brother Jeremy, who has previously had a romantic relationship with the Bennett witch.

Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries premieres on the 10th of October 2013, and a total number of the regular 22 episodes have been confirmed.

So, would you like to see Bonnie more often? Or do you just wish she stayed her ground on the ‘Other Side’? Comment below with your thoughts!
