We all leapt for joy last week when news hit that Richard Curtis's epic festive classic Love Actually will be getting a sequel for Red Nose Day, airing in the US on NBC on March 25.

With the reunion brewing for 14 years, a number of stars are gathering to spread the love and their personal excitement about the next instalment — and we can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing that The Walking Dead actor Andrew Lincoln managed to take a pause from blasting zombie brains out of his way to be one of them.

Abandoning the cue cards he once needed to fully express himself in that heartwarming scene Love Actually, Andrew used actual words this time to relay how he heard about the new project from the director. He said:

"Richard got in touch about a month ago and mentioned he had something in mind. I’m shooting something in March."

Thankfully, Lincoln found some time out of his busy schedule to help shoot this greatly-anticipated "little mini-revival" and to show audiences what ultimately happened between his character, love-torn Mark, and Keira Knightley's lovely Juliet:

However, Andrew wasn't too eager to reveal any details, choosing instead to say how excited he was to see everyone again after all those years:

"It’s fun and going to be really great to see everyone again. It’s very exciting. It’s a very cool thing. No spoilers."

So there you go folks, although Andrew Lincoln will certainly be returning, it's unclear whether he'll still be creeping after Juliet with his stalkerish, borderline-obsessive videotaping skills. We'll just have to wait and see.

On a scale of super excited to incredibly overjoyed, how much are you looking forward to the Love Actually sequel?
