AMC's The Walking Dead has been been making headlines for all the wrong reasons in the last few weeks, due to the departure of showrunner and the ensuing feud between show creator Robert Kirkman and Sons of Anarchy top dog . However, with the recent announcement that executive producer would be taking over the reins of the zombie drama, we can now refocus our attention on what's really important: zombie's ripping out throats and Rick preparing to kick the Governor's ass.
The show returns in February for the second half of Season 3, and AMC has released a new teaser trailer for Episode 9, "The Suicide King."
First up, here's the synopsis:
Rick tries to rescue a member of his group. Woodbury is in disarray after a recent attack. New guests raise concerns at the prison.
Now check out the trailer:
Awesome stuff. In order to defend the prison, it looks like Rick and the gang might make a preemptive strike on Woodbury, with newbie Tyreese coming along for the ride. The Governor also looks to be out for revenge. Will he get his "eye for an eye?"
The Walking Dead returns February 10th, 9/8c on AMC.
