The Walking Dead creator and executive producer has arrived to provide some tantalizing details about the much-anticipated fourth season of the successful zombie-smashing series. Obviously this information could be construed as a spoiler so make sure you stop reading now if you want to remain uninfected.
The Season 3 finale left the Governor army-less and on a rather awkward car trip with his two remaining companions. It certainly marked the moment when the Governor went from pretty crazy to all-round diabolical maniac. Now, in an interview with IGN, Kirkman explains that the Governor will return, but not as before:
Yeah, [The Governor] is still very much in the mix. That's certainly not the last that we'll see of him. When we see him again and where we see him again, that's the big question. It's not going to be like it was in Season 3; it's not going to be Rick and the Governor on a collision course with a conflict between them. He'll be used in very different ways next season.
Hmm, this certainly could be an intriguing way of revitalizing the Governor's storyline, And now, because you've been so well behaved, here is a Walking Dead season 4 'preview'. Check it out below:
What do you think? Does this sound like a good idea, or would you have preferred a continuation of the Season 3 dynamic? Let me know below.
