This article contains spoilers from The Walking Dead Season 7.

The seventh season of has certainly divided viewers, but as we approach the season finale, all eyes are on the hit AMC series. There's no denying that has been intense.

With Rick busy getting guns for Jadis and Carol coming to her senses over at the Kingdom, this week's episode took the action back to the Hilltop, where viewers got the opportunity to catch up with Jesus, Maggie and Daryl — as well as getting to see Rosita and Sasha take their suicide mission to the next level.

With the tension building and the group making different plans to take out Negan and end the Saviors' reign once and for all, tonight's episode took things to a whole new level. Before we start getting excited for next week's penultimate episode of Season 7, let's take a look back at the biggest moments from "The Other Side."

1. Jesus Confirms His Sexuality

Ever since Jesus arrived during the sixth season, the character has been really secretive and we still know very little about him. That changed during tonight's episode when, during a conversation with Maggie, Jesus finally revealed his back story. We found out that he's never had the opportunity to get close to people as he was brought up in an orphanage and that he finally feels like he's part of something because of his relationship with Maggie and Sasha.

However, it was what followed that fans were most interested in — Jesus told Maggie that he never really had the opportunity to have "boyfriends." As Jesus is gay in the comics, we've all been waiting for the television version of the character to reveal his sexuality to us and, praise Jesus, he finally did. This episode made us love Jesus even more, and who knew that was possible?

2. The Saviors Arrive At The Hilltop

Daryl has been on the run since escaping captivity, hiding out in several different settlements to avoid getting captured again. Jesus took him to the Kingdom and then he journeyed with Rick and the gang to the Hilltop where he reunited with Carol.

Tonight's episode saw Daryl readjusting to life at the Hilltop, and things took a dire turn when the Saviors showed up. Daryl knew that Negan was searching for him, so he took every precaution to remain hidden, ducking into the cellar. Moreover, Maggie had to remain out of sight too as the Alexandrians had previously told Negan that she died.

After all that they went through the last time, we were definitely praying that no further harm would come to the pair of survivors.

3. Simon Takes Doctor Carson

There's very little that Negan doesn't have, but apparently he's now short a doctor following his gruesome murder of the Sanctuary's own medical professional several weeks ago. While we were fooled into thinking that the Saviors had arrived at the Hilltop looking for Daryl, it turns out they were actually looking for Doctor Carson.

I guess Negan must have realized that killing the Sanctuary's doctor wasn't the best idea he's ever had. As you can imagine, Carson was a bit nervous about leaving, but unfortunately Simon persisted. However, all hope is not lost because, in return for losing their doctor, Simon provided Gregory and the folks of the Hilltop with a large box full of aspirin — how nice of him.

4. Daryl And Maggie Talk About What Happened To Glenn

From the moment tonight's episode began, it became clear that Daryl was avoiding conversation with Maggie. However, the pair found themselves trapped in the cellar while the Saviors visited the Hilltop, and Maggie took this opportunity to confront her longtime friend over his silence.

Maggie forced Daryl to speak to her about what happened to Glenn, and Daryl broke down, apologizing for playing a part in her husband's death. Maggie told Daryl that it wasn't his fault, and the pair reminisced about how much of a great guy Glenn was. After embracing, Maggie begged Daryl to help them defeat Negan.

5. Rosita And Sasha Reconcile, Leading To Sasha Making A Huge Decision

Rosita and Sasha set up shop in a warehouse across from the Saviors' sanctuary. From there, they could see Eugene patrolling the compound and, while waiting for Negan to appear, the pair discussed their animosity towards one another — and Rosita finally melted her icy exterior, allowing Sasha to discuss Abraham and his death.

During their conversation, Rosita explained how she learned her skills and also how she regrets that she'll never be able to tell Abraham that she was "happy that he was happy."

Realizing that Negan had procured Doctor Carson, the pair decided that they were going to have to kill Negan from inside the Sanctuary. However, once they got there, Sasha tricked Rosita into remaining outside while she infiltrated the compund. The new best friends shared a moment as Sasha told Rosita that the people need her skills. Rosita tried to break into the Sanctuary to no avail, as Sasha ran inside the building.

With only two episodes left this season, the struggle for power is on, and Season 7 will no doubt come to a horrifying conclusion. It all comes down to Rick versus Negan — and no matter what happens, the battle will have catastrophic consequences for all parties involved. But the big question is if we will see another survivor fall victim to Lucille? We'll just have to wait and see.
