's hand-crafted fables have made him Japan's most successful movie maker. So it's no surprise that the animation director responsible for Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle is creating a big buzz with his upcoming biographical drama, The Wind Rises.

Three weeks to go until the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and we've seen dozens of new movie titles added to the mix, including (Indie Wire is reporting) Miyazaki's latest. It's something we should all be looking out for at the festival - the story of the life of Jiro Horikoshi, who designed famed World War II combat plane the Mitsubishi A6M Zero. Don't worry, though, the Miyazaki already commented that The Wind Rises in no way glorifies war!
