Jennifer Lawrence is an absolute mega-star, she's the highest paid actress in the world and has a Best Actress Oscar statue and four other Oscar nominations to her name. The young icon has achieved so much in such a short period of time, but what if that's because she's had decades of practice? What if Jennifer Lawrence is a clone of another award-winning performer?

Like all good theories, the idea of JLaw being a clone has got the internet hungry to find out more. The tongue-in-cheek conspiracy began its life on the home of ridiculous theories, Reddit, and has left us all astounded at the similarities between Dame Helen Mirren and our on-screen incarnation of Katniss Everdeen.

The freshly unearthed image of Mirren rocking her heart out and looking like a real beaut in the seventies, has caused many see the light when it comes to an uncanny resemblance between Helen and Jen. We must admit the piercing eyes, strong nose and textured hair has definitely a touch of Jen about them.

Is Jennifer Lawrence, Helen Mirren 2.0? Perhaps she been programmed and developed by the Oscars Council to deliver outstanding performances, film after film? Have they ever been spotted together? No! Coincidence? I think not.

All The Times JLaw WAS Helen Mirren

The lovely ladies looking identical, laying on the charm in interviews, JLaw pictured here on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and Helen on Parkinson.

We wonder if it's part of a clone's training, to be able to wield a gun? Jennifer pictured here in Joy and Mirren in the movie Red. Badass!

Curly hair, don't care! A double throwback for both ladies, with such wonderful bone structure it's no wonder they can pull of such dramatic perms.

The eye make-up is spot-on, all Jen is missing is the Cleopatra wig and they would look like twins.

These award winning lovelies know it's not really an adaptation if there's no trees involved. Lawrence, of course starring as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games and Mirren playing Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The clones, we imagine are put through gruelling rehearsals for interviews so they don't let anything slip. They've both got the "don't ask me anything else" faces down.

Ok, we're massively freaked out, is the C.I.A in on this too? Maybe the conspiracy is real because this is so very creepy.

If you happen to be a sceptic, Mirren herself agrees that there is more than a passing resemblance between her younger self and JLaw. When asked by Entertainment Tonight if she agreed that she looked like Lawrence, the legendary actress replied:

"She’s much prettier than I was. But there is a great similarity actually, it’s very true there’s a similarity. We got the little fat cheeks that I used to have. As she gets older that will all fall away and she’s going to be the most beautiful woman . . . She is a beautiful girl. She is going to be a spectacularly beautiful woman."

So, there you have it, the queen has spoken.

Is Jennifer really Helen's clone?
