Ever since the first promo images dropped for Thor: Ragnarok, we've all been eager to see more. The God of Thunder's third outing already looks to be his most interesting, first teaming up with Loki then Hulk as they try to take down the villainous Hela. This journey will take Thor "beyond the nine realms" into places we haven't even seen before in any Marvel movies, and it seems that he finds Hulk entrapped by Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster in a vicious gladiator arena.
And it's this that is the subject for a bunch of new promo posters that have been released in the form of T-shirts. On the shirts, Thor and Hulk leap into action — and the neon backgrounds are in line with the eighties aesthetic that #ThorRagnarok seems to be using.
This is an awesome poster, and it shows Thor's new helmet as well as his new sword — following up on multiple reports that he will lose Mjolnir early on in the film. We still don't know whether this is because he becomes unworthy, or because Hela steals the ancient hammer.
We already caught a glimpse at this particular poster a few months ago when the design was leaked. It's really dynamic, with a neon color pallet — and it gives us a closer look at Thor's new swords.
This tee is my personal favorite, as it's a really stunning design. The script used looks very, very similar to the text on Peter Quill's T-shirt in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which makes sense as both movies are set in space. Perhaps we should keep our eyes peeled for Ragnarok set-up in the Guardians 2 post credits scene...
Tell us in the comments: What do you think of the new shirts?
