I find myself to be inspired by films that have a great story, and amazing characters.

The first Thor film introduced us to Asgard, Odin, the Warriors Three, Lady Sif, Loki, and our intrepid Hero Thor. As the movie pans out, we see the disintegrating relationship between Thor and Loki, and thus the events that led to the Avengers film.

In the upcoming film, Thor: The Dark World, we can only assume that Loki () has been dealt Asgardian justice. We see from the trailer, that he has been imprisoned for his actions. I can’t help but wonder what is going through Loki’s mind during this imprisonment. We know from the trailer that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) needs Loki’s help, perhaps to fight the enemy we all know is coming.

There are many things that I am very excited to see. I hope to see more of the relationship between Thor and his allies and how they interact with each other during battle. Also, there is the deepening relationship between Jane Foster and Thor. I’m sure everyone saw Jane Foster () slap Loki for attempting to destroy New York. I can say that I wasn’t surprised at Loki’s reaction to the slap. I also hope to see more of Odin (Sir Anthony Hopkins). I hope that he plays a bigger role along with Frigga (Rene Russo). I am intrigued to see more of how she feels about Loki’s rebellion and subsequent imprisonment.

Adding to the already tense atmosphere, is the film’s big bad, Malekith played by the ever astonishing, (you may remember him as the 9th Doctor). Everyone has to band together to survive the onslaught of this enemy, even those who are currently imprisoned.

Even more exciting is the addition of more scenes with Loki. After ’s surprise visit to Comic Con in July, it only seems fitting to me, that they add more Loki to the film. It will be interesting to see how the story plays out. It sounds like to me that it will be a well-rounded film. It seems a lot of the intrigue will be centered around Loki and what he’s done. I’m sure there will be action, and romance to balance the fair amount of intrigue.
