Considering every article we write about 's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gets roughly a bajillion hits (possible exaggeration) and is the catalyst for all sorts of fan splashback in the comments, whether good or bad (but mostly bad), I expect this one to be no different.

Set pics are finally starting to leak of what, exactly, the guys look like in their Turtles get-up. Obviously, heavy, heavy CGI that will be used to turn them from regular guys in rather bulky looking pajamas into the badass ninjas we all know and love. Still, it's interesting to see what those tagged and censored suits look like. In a word: awkward. Three cheers for the VFX crew.

These new sets of pictures show as April O'Neil together with as Raphael. April's holding his signature weapon (twin sai) for some reason, and from the looks of it, she clearly has no idea how to use them. Raphael appears to be pleading with her to keep them, and she looks none too happy about it. Perhaps sacrificing his own safety for her protection? Protip: Stick them with the pointy end.

They also have her in a mustard yellow jacket, which is more than likely their nod to her traditional yellow jumpsuit. Even though we've already seen her in workout gear, I suspect she'll be spending a lot of time in this jacket.

Lord, but do his gear and harness look uncomfortable to wear. Like a cross between a ladybug Halloween costume and an astronaut suit. Still, from the sheer number of censors and computer chips all over his get-up, it's clearly high tech and will result in some pretty realistic CGI. We can hope, anyway.

What do you think? Do these new set pics put you more at ease about the movie? Make you more nervous? Let us know in the comments, and make sure to [[follow]] this movie if you're not already so you can stay up to date when we drop more pics from the set.

TMNT will be karate-chopping their way into theaters on June 6th of next year.
