Though we're starting to get relatively sick of origin stories, there's one character whose early and clumsy attempts to save the planet we care deeply about: , a.k.a. Spider-Man, for whom we're ready to relive the awkwardness of high school all over again.

And it seems like after countless adaptations of the web slinger's adventures on the big screen, got the formula right. The trailer for finally dropped, and is just perfect in his role as a young and eager Parker. Perhaps one of the reasons for this success lies in the thorough preparation the 20-year-old actor went through to turn into your typical high schooler.

In a recent interview live on Facebook, the actor discussed preparing for the role of , and boy his method acting is on point! Since he didn't really know what American high school was like, he decided to go undercover to a real school in New York for a while:

"No one knew who I was or what I was doing. I had a fake name and fake accent. I went to a school [in London] where you had to wear a suit and tie, and it's all boys. For me, it was the first time I was in a classroom with girls. It was a really strange experience. It was really fun."

And no one really noticed — except for one girl who seemed to sense there was something fishy about Holland's presence at her school. So when she confronted him about it, straight out asking him "Why do you go to our school?" Holland had the perfect response:

"I started doing an English accent and I was like, 'I have a secret. I'm actually Spider-Man.' She was like, 'Dude, you're nuts. You are literally the craziest guy I've ever met in my life.'"
