's remake of the classic Stephen King inspired horror, Carrie, has been pumping up audiences for longer than usual. We should have seen in action in March this year, however the release date was eventually pushed back to October to coincide with Halloween.

Well, we must be getting closer to that date since we now have the rather gripping international trailer. It shows quite a lot, in fact I might even so far to say it's a bit spoilery. So bear that in mind before checking it out below:

For those of you unfamiliar with Carrie, here is the synopsis:

A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. You'll be able to catch it in theaters from October 18th.
