's latest directorial effort, Empire State, has got a first trailer. The movie is based on the real-life story of the robbery of the Sentry Armored Car Company in 1982. At the time it was the biggest cash robbery in U.S. history and landed the thieves a cool $11.4 million. stars as the robber with a plan, while is the NYPD officer that stands in his way.

After the huge flop that was The Son Of No One, directer Montiel could do with a hit. The signs are not looking good though; Empire State is going straight to DVD and will be available September 3rd.
