Ever since Netflix premiered the Wet Hot American Summer prequel series First Day of Camp in 2015, fans have been eager for the long-awaited follow-up. Well, the wait is over, campers! has released the trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later and, suffice it to say, it's even quirkier than you'd expect.

The year is 1991 and a decade has passed since the events of the 2001 film. The campers and counselors we first fell in love with back in the summer of 1981 are all grown up and have reunited to save Camp Firewood from imminent closure. But from the look of the trailer, it seems some are doing better at adulting than others.

Take A Look At The New Trailer

The show is filled with a host of stars including Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Ken Marino, Lake Bell, Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, Christopher Meloni and Paul Rudd. Alyssa Milano also joins in on the action this time around.

Notably absent from the new trailer (except in a brief throwback scene from the original) is Bradley Cooper, who played Ben in the first film and its prequel series. Having enjoyed a significant rise to stardom since his appearance in the first film, The American Sniper actor was alleged to have filmed all his scenes for First Day of Camp in under two days, right before the 2015 Academy Awards. Hopefully he ends up giving us a surprise cameo.

Regardless of 's absence, I can't wait for the follow-up. Wet Hot American Summer is one of my favorite comedies, and the Netflix prequel was right on par with the original. The parody is truly unique in its humor and it will be a blast to see who each of the gang has grown up to become.

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later drops on Netflix August 4. Are you excited? Sound off in the comments below.
