It's been a busy couple of days in the world of TV casting. Here's a roundup of some of the movers and shakers.

Flamey drama Chicago Fire has recruited Lucky 7 co-star . She'll play Allison Rafferty, a paramedic who's not afraid to mix it with the big boys and get her hands dirty.

Ahoy, me hearties! has been tapped for a recurring role on the swashbuckling pirate drama Crossbones. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star will play William Jagger, an "aristocrat-turned-privateer and governor of Jamaica who dispatches Tom Lowe () to accompany inventor-mathematician Benedict Nightingale and his Marine Chronometer to England by way of a secret convoy." King of Queens star is returning to TV comedy land for The Exes. She's signed up to play Stuart's sister Nicki, a tough-talking, no-nonsense Staten Island native who files for divorce when she learns her cop husband has been having an affair.

Over to the CW now and The Tomorrow People. The show has tapped Queer as Folk alum to star as the boyfriend of Stephen's Mom, Marla. Suspicions are raised by his arrival; is he too good to be true?

And now to the big news: Arrow has cast Rha's al Ghul's daughter Nyssa al Ghul, in the shapely form of Spartacus actress . Now all that's left to do is convince to jump on board...
