Picked up: The CW has picked up a whole sweep of shows for further seasons. Arrow - which is the network's most watched show - alongside The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Supernaturals and Reign were all given early renewal.

The most surprising of these is perhaps The Originals, which was expected to stutter when it aired in the same time slot as ABC's Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, but in fact flourished, doubling The CW's Tuesday night ratings.

Resurrected: Cancelled last year after five seasons, Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva has now been brought back to life. The sixth and last season will launch on March 23rd with a two hour premiere in which main character Jane will finally have to tell the truth to her partner Grayson.

Let's Go!: A new comedy from and , the team behind Lego Movie, has been given a straight to series order from Fox. It will be executive produced by . The plot of Last Man on Earth is pretty self-explanatory, involving a man (played by Will Forte) who finds himself the sole human on the planet.
