Hey, who said Tywin Lannister was a crotchety old coot who didn't know how to have fun? It turns out when he's not being Hand of the King or arriving at battles just at the right time, old Tywin likes nothing more than to settle down with every bored housewives' favorite book, Fifty Shades of Grey.

, who plays the Lannister patriarch in Game of Thrones, recently appeared on the New Year edition of Great Britain's Channel 4 comedy-quiz show, The Big Fat Quiz of 2012. While acting as the basis for a question, Dance reads an extract from the book in his awesome, gravelly, sophisticated tone. Check it out below:

Now, wasn't that just awesome? Fifty Shades of Grey isn't the only tawdry literature Dance has taken on. On previous Big Fat Quizzes he's also read from the 1980s autobiography of The Krankies (they were a weird Scottish comedy duo), as well as Mel B and Katie Price. I don't care how bad the writing in these books is, if Dance did the audio version I'd buy them in an instant.

Unfortunately, Dance is unlikely to be involved with the upcoming movie adaptation of the novel. But, if you want to find out all the latest news and information about this project, make sure you hit [[follow]].
