On my list of things I want in the new year: A Quentin Tarantino horror flick.

As Joblo reports, might be contemplating a horror movie as his next project.

The genre would be quite fitting for a director, who just loves to aestheticize violence and whose appreciation of the dreadful is well-known. He also penned the crazy vampire horror comedy, From Dusk Till Dawn.

In an interview with Independent,Tarantino said (via Joblo):

If there was something I would like to work on again, it would be Honshu's movies, maybe. Or a horror movie, perhaps.

It is not much, but it is still good news and it might give some hope for the scary genre enthusiasts.

The bad news however is, that the director also revealed that he was not thinking about Kill Bill: Volume 3 any more, so it is now very unlikely that we will see Beatrix Kiddo in a third instalment of the bloody action saga. He said:

There are no genres I absolutely want to do any more, like ticking boxes: 'This, done'. I don't think about Kill Bill 3 that much, as... we already visited them.

What do you think? Would you be up for a Tarantino style horror?
