What could have been a turning point in 's career - recently mostly dominated by comedies of questionable merit - is no more.
Vaughn would have a played a criminal on the run who takes out a life insurance policy with his estranged daughter as the benefactor. Problem is he has to stay alive a certain period of time for the insurance to become effective - which turns out increasingly difficult with the whole crime world on his heels.
Perhaps the actor, who was also set to produce Term Life, can get the ball rolling at another studio.
Until then Term Life has to be considered pretty much dead.
